Arrival information
Meet & Greet / Transfer Assistance
Upon arrival at Geneva International Airport:
- Proceed to the baggage claim area to retrieve your luggage.
- Exit through customs and look for the Les Roches Welcome Booth with a “Les Roches” sign.
- Our Welcome Team will greet you, sign you in, and arrange your transfer to campus (if arrival details are confirmed via the applicant portal).
- For assistance, contact arrivals@lesroches-admissions.com.
Lost Luggage
If luggage is lost, report it immediately to airport authorities, providing them with the school's address for delivery. The Welcome Team will assist you if needed.
Arrivals and Check-In
Arrivals and campus check-in are managed by the Welcome Team.
Upon arrival you will:
- Receive your room keys and orientation details.
- Verify dietary restrictions or special needs during registration.

Packing list
We recommend that you come prepared for all weathers, as conditions in the Alps during the summer can vary quite widely. We advise that you bring the following:
Essential Items
- Casual clothes.
- Plenty of layers, rather than thick clothing, as this will be more versatile if the weather fluctuates.
- Ensure you have a comfortable pair of shoes for everyday use (such as trainers/sneakers) and one pair of long trousers for Les Roches workshops.
- One smart-formal outfit and shoes appropriate for visiting a five-star hotel (no jeans, sneakers, miniskirts or shorts).
- A waterproof coat is essential.
- Adequate trainers, sports clothing, and a swimsuit, as various sporting and water sports activities are planned as part of the program.
Optional items
- Personal electronics such as hairdryers (with adapters).
Laundry facilities are available on campus.

Crans-Montana
Nestled at 1,500 meters in the heart of the Alps, Crans-Montana is a vibrant resort celebrated for its spectacular views and refined charm. Divided into two main areas—Crans for shopping and Montana for sports—it’s a paradise for both adventure and relaxation.
In summer, the resort transforms into a hub for golfing, hiking, and mountain biking, while winter offers world-class skiing and other snow activities. Our priority is to ensure your health and safety during the program. Should you fall ill, our Health & Wellbeing Team is available to assist with making doctor appointments. Please ensure you have appropriate health and accident insurance to cover medical costs during your stay.
Campus security is upheld by dedicated safety officers and a private security team to maintain a safe environment. We also enforce a strict no-drugs policy and maintain a smoke-free campus, except in designated areas.
Professional Etiquette
With over 1,000 students representing more than 90 nationalities, our campus celebrates cultural diversity. We encourage respect for all cultures and emphasize that personal presentation should align with the values of the service industry. Students are guided to develop qualities essential for hospitality and tourism professions, adhering to high standards of professionalism.

Money and Valuables
While personal insurance for theft or damage is not mandatory, it is strongly recommended. The school is not liable for valuables left in bedrooms, public areas, or storage spaces. Use the safety deposit boxes provided in your room and avoid keeping large sums of cash.
Room Regulations
To ensure safety and comfort, cooking appliances, open flames, pets, and weapons are prohibited in rooms. Tea and coffee-making appliances, like kettles, are allowed. Non-compliance with accommodation standards may result in removal from campus housing.

Swiss outlets require 220 volts with three-pin hexagonal plugs. You may need a transformer or adapter for your devices, which can be purchased locally. To conserve energy, turn off all appliances and lights when leaving your room.
