The Intensive English Hospitality Preparation Program (IEHPP) is designed to strengthen students’ English proficiency at B2 level, providing a solid linguistic foundation for academic progression and future professional success in hospitality and beyond.

Through a structured and practical approach, the program develops the four core language skills: listening, writing, speaking, and reading using authentic materials and task-based learning. Students build the strategic, linguistic, and cognitive competencies required to communicate confidently and effectively in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.

Listening Understand with confidence

This course is a targeted skill-training program designed to develop learners’ listening competence at B2 Level in English. It focuses on building the strategic, linguistic, and cognitive skills required to successfully understand spoken English at this level. The course develops grammar and vocabulary ensuring that learners strengthen their overall listening ability for academic, professional, and everyday communication.

Students will work extensively with authentic audio materials, including exam-style, emphasizing active listening strategies, such as identifying key ideas, recognizing distractors, predicting content, and taking concise notes using keywords

Writing Communicate effectively

This course is designed to develop learners’ ability to produce clear, well-structured, and accurate written texts at the B2 level, supporting learners in producing confident and effective written English for academic, professional, and everyday contexts.

Students practice writing tasks such as essays, reviews, reports, and emails, focusing on coherence, cohesion, register, and grammatical accuracy, as well as the appropriate use of B2-level vocabulary and functional language in different contexts.

Speaking Express yourself with clarity

This course is designed to develop learners’ spoken fluency, accuracy, and interactional competence in line with the B2 English level speaking requirements for lexical and grammatical range. It focuses on functional language, discourse management, pronunciation, and interactive strategies.

The course prepares students to communicate confidently, coherently, and appropriately in real-life communicative situations, enabling them to express complex ideas clearly in academic, professional, and social contexts.

Students engage in structured speaking tasks, including individual long turns, collaborative activities, and discussions, in which they practice turn-taking, asking for clarification, expressing opinions, and negotiating meaning. Regular practice under guided conditions is carried out throughout the course.

Reading Engage with written texts

This course is designed to develop learners’ ability to understand, interpret, and respond to a wide range of written texts at the B2 English level, enabling them to read confidently and effectively in academic, professional, and everyday contexts, both in exam reading tasks and in real-life situations.

Students practice reading different text types, such as articles, reviews, reports, and emails, with an emphasis on identifying main ideas, supporting details, and writer intention.

The course focuses on reading strategies, text organization, inference, and critical understanding, as well as the recognition of B2-level vocabulary, grammatical structures, and functional language in context
