This is your chance to experience the Les Roches approach before taking your next academic step. The Master’s Discovery Camp gives prospective graduate students a taste of what it means to learn, think, and lead in the fast-moving world of hospitality.
Forget sitting back and listening. You’ll be challenged to think differently, work with others, explore new ideas, and apply what you learn. From leadership labs and innovation sprints to sustainability challenges, expert masterclasses, and field visits, every day is designed to connect learning with the real world.

A typical week
Day one:
- Welcome & Orientation Meet your fellow participants, settle in, and get ready for the week ahead.
Day two:
- Leadership & Self-Discovery Leadership Lab, self-awareness activities, case study workshop, and field visit.
Day three:
- Innovation & Technology Innovation Sprint, design-thinking challenge, AI & digitalization masterclass, and industry visit.
Day four:
- Sustainability & Purpose ESG/sustainability masterclass and hands-on sustainable business challenge.
Day five:
- Industry Immersion Full-day industry visit and on-site masterclass, followed by an evening storytelling dinner with an industry guest.
Day six:
- Showcase & Grand Finale Public speaking masterclass, final group presentations, industry panel, and Closing Ceremony.
Day seven:
- Departure Your Les Roches experience comes to an end — and your next step begins.

Industry visits
Learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Field-based visits give you the opportunity to experience hospitality environments first-hand, meet professionals, and see innovation, leadership, and guest experience in action.
Outdoor learning
Selected activities and field experiences may take learning outdoors, combining structured activities with time to explore the destination and connect with your group. Specific days and locations will be confirmed closer to delivery. All outdoor sessions and field trips are instructor-led and supervised.

A typical day combines structured learning, practical experiences, and time to connect with your fellow participants.
You’ll receive a full timetable of activities upon arrival.

Morning:
Breakfast followed by workshops, masterclasses, or practical activities.

Midday:
Lunch and a break.

Afternoon:
Interactive group work, industry immersion, field visits, or practical challenges.

Evening:
Downtime followed by Community Time, social activities, and selected networking opportunities with industry guests.
Assessment & academic recognition
Your week culminates in a final group presentation: “The Future of Hospitality: My Leadership, My Innovation, My Impact.”
Working as a team, you’ll develop and present a concept to an industry panel, supported by an individual reflection.
The 1-week program carries 1 US Credit / 2 ECTS.

The Combo experience
Why choose one campus when you can experience two? Start in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, from 4–11 July, then continue to Marbella, Spain, from 11–18 July. Discover two very different destinations and two distinctive Les Roches campus experiences as part of one summer journey.
Who is it for?
The Master’s Discovery Camp is designed for students aged 18–26 who are considering graduate study and want to explore the world of hospitality before choosing their future Master’s pathway. It offers a practical introduction to the type of strategic thinking, leadership, innovation, and industry engagement that defines the Les Roches learning experience.

Entry requirements
Students must meet the participation requirements for the Summer Program, including holding a valid passport for the entire duration of the program and valid health insurance coverage for their full stay. Students are responsible for meeting any entry or visa requirements applicable to their nationality and destination.
