Payment

Pay the fees according to the payment scheme

Upon receipt of your acceptance package, make the necessary arrangements to complete the payments according to the proforma invoice received.

Visa

Application

Who needs to apply for a visa?

If you do not hold a valid European Union passport, you must apply for a Student Visa Type D to study at Les Roches Marbella.

EU/EFTA Nationals

If you hold a passport from a country in the European Union (EU) or from a European Free Trade Association (EFTA) member state, you do not need to apply for a study visa (Type D visa- for a stay over 90 days).

Non-EU/EFTA Nationals

If you do not hold a passport from one of these countries, you must apply for a study visa (Type D visa- for a stay over 90 days) to enter Spain.

When & how should I apply?

You should apply for your study visa as soon as you receive your acceptance package. It can take up to three months to obtain your visa, so please make an appointment with the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence as soon as you receive your acceptance package.

Book your accommodation

You will receive separate instructions by email from the Lodging Department to log on to our online room reservation system and finalize your choice.

The Lodging Department will send separate instructions by email in order to log on to our housing platform and make your choice among the available rooms.

Collect your visa when ready

Once you have presented all the documents for the visa, you will have to wait for notification before returning to the Embassy / Consulate to have the original entry visa (sticker) stamped on your passport and to ensure that all formalities have been completed. The final issuance of the visa remains at the discretion of the Spanish authorities regardless of an acceptance decision by the school.

You should receive the original entry visa at the Embassy / Consulate where you applied. Please refer to the ‘Visa’ document.

Book your flight tickets

After having received your visa to enter the country, please remember to book your flight/train ticket to arrive exactly on the date shown in your acceptance letter.

Arrival form

Please complete the arrival form on the applicant portal at least 10 days prior your arrival. If you need to be picked up, an organized bus will drive you to the campus. Please note this service is available only if arriving on official arrival dates.

Campus registration hours

Campus registration is open from 9:30 am to 5.30 pm on official arrival days (see your acceptance letter). Students who arrive to campus after the official arrival date, will be handed keys to a dorm room upon their arrival and will need to complete their full check-in procedure the following day.

Early Arrivals

Please be aware that the campus will not be able to accommodate students arriving earlier than the official arrival dates. Students arriving earlier than the official arrival date may arrange accommodation at their own expense.

Professional image policy

Students must dress and present themselves in a professional manner in accordance with Les Roches guidelines.

A professional image should be respected on all Les Roches premises including main buildings and outdoor areas.

There are three types of attire:

  • Business Professional
  • Practical Uniform
  • Casual

Packing list

Business attire

  • 2-3 suits (blazers with matching trousers/skirts), in dark colors
  • 7-10 shirts or blouses
  • Neck ties matching the suit (required for men)
  • Thin sweaters or vests
  • Dark color socks and skin or black color stockings

Practical arts attire

All undergraduate semester 1 students will receive a full set of uniforms as part of their practical arts apparel which is to be worn during the entire first semester.

Casual attire

  • Shirts: t-shirts, polos, blouses.
  • Pants/skirts: trousers, khakis, jeans, skirts.
  • Sweaters/sweatshirts: light and warm sweaters and sweatshirts, V-necks to wear with suit
  • Coats: one for rain or wind, one for colder nights
  • Sleep wear
  • Sports wear
  • Swimsuit

Clothing for Cultural Night

Traditional attire, or clothing representing your country.

Formal wear

A dress or two for ladies, or nice trousers and a shirt for gentlemen.

Shoes

  • Pair of comfortable black leather shoes.
  • Set of black trainers
  • Pair of nice high heels for ladies
  • Pair of business shoes for men
  • Pair of flip-flops or slippers.

Personal supplies

  • Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, hairbrush, gel, hairdryer, etc.
  • Medication
  • Nail clippers
  • Money in Euros for your first weeks
  • Personal laptop

Other items

  • International adapter
  • Small luggage (cabin size) for field trips
  • Small bag or backpack for weekend trips/carrying books etc.

What documents do you need to bring?

  • Two passport-sized photographs in color (biometric standard, size: 3.5 x 4.5 cm), with your family name and first name written on the back of each photograph
  • Passport
  • 2 photocopies of your valid passport
  • ID
  • Visa (if applicable)
