Program overview

This is a hands-on introduction to hospitality for students who want to create, lead, and make things happen. You will explore personal branding, marketing, event design, F&B, guest experience, and communication through practical challenges rather than traditional lectures.

Across the two-week experience, you can progress from building your personal brand and creating an event concept to designing and delivering a live hospitality experience for an invited audience.

Week 1 — Hospitality, Brand & Event Leadership

Build your leadership toolkit and discover the creative side of hospitality. You will develop a personal brand, experiment with marketing ideas, explore F&B skills, and design an event from concept to execution.

Ignite the Fire:

Mission launch game, team identity quest, inspiration walk, impact wall, and F&B activities.

Unleash Your Brand:

Personality scanner, TikTok elevator pitch, personal logo, and tagline.

Marketing Magic:

The 10-second hook, sell-me-this-idea challenge, and Instagram challenge.

Event Hackathon:

Event concept development, budgeting, resources, and the influencer playbook.

Presentation Power & Grand Finale:

Voice and presence, storytelling, slide makeover, Shark Tank pitch, and closing ceremony.

F&B experiences

Practical F&B rotations include Italian cuisine, Japanese cuisine, barista skills, pastry, non-alcohol mixology and the art of service, following the program schedule.

Week 2 — Hospitality Operations & Guest Experience

Go from creating an idea to making it happen. During the second week, you will design, cost, plan, rehearse, and deliver a themed F&B or event concept for an invited audience.

Concept & Menu Design:

Develop a themed F&B/event concept and menu, including basic costing and sourcing.

Kitchen & Service Skills Deep-Dive:

Advanced practical rotations and service-standard training.

Guest Experience Design:

Map the guest journey and explore front-of-house standards, complaint handling, and VIP service.

Build Day:

Rehearse the live event, refine the experience, and prepare the setup.

Live Service Showcase:

Deliver your F&B/event experience to an invited audience, followed by a guided debrief.

Outdoor Learning

Selected sessions and field trips are delivered outdoors, including lakeside settings, light hiking trails, and beach-based sessions in Marbella. Outdoor learning combines structured activities with games and time in nature. Specific days and locations will be confirmed closer to delivery. All outdoor sessions and field trips remain instructor-led and supervised.

Each course carries 1 US Credit / 2 ECTS, for a total of 2 US Credits / 4 ECTS when both weeks are completed.

Two-week campus experience

Choose both weeks to extend your experience from brand and event leadership into hospitality operations and guest experience. Week 2 can take place at a different Les Roches campus without changing the course content, learning outcomes, or credit value.
