We are already looking forward to welcoming you on campus for your 1st residential week in Marbella as a kick-off of your Executive part-time program. On this special occasion, you will be able to meet your fellow participants, as well as some relevant faculty.
Take this chance to immerse yourself in the Les Roches community and to network with a pool of international future professionals.
Program induction
Right before the beginning of the semester, you will receive a communication, with the detailed program for your residential week in Marbella.
Q&A - pre-arrival webinar
Discover everything you need to know about starting an Executive part-time program at Les Roches Marbella. A few weeks before the start of your program, you will receive an email invite to join a n induction webinar hosted by our Executive part-time programs coordinator, giving you the opportunity to ask questions on topics like the residential weeks, induction, arrival, student life, and more.
IT credentials
A few days before the beginning of the program, our IT HelpDesk will send you your IT credentials by email using your private email address. These login details will enable you to activate and access your Les Roches school email and online platform to access your future courses (Moodle).
You will also receive in that same email a “how to” guide covering actions you will need to perform to start using those services. Make sure you try to login before the start of the program, to ensure the information is correct.
Your platform
As part of your Executive part-time program, you will be able to access all necessary resources, group lists, schedules, contact information and more on a dedicated online platform. All you’ll have to do is click and browse through the different menu sections that might be of interest to you.
All of the materials in a range of formats will be available to learn asynchronously and at your own pace at home or anywhere in the world.

Connecting with faculty & departments
As a remote participant, you will have the same opportunities than on campus students to reach out to your faculty and school departments for private meetings. All important contact information will be shared with you at the beginning of the program.
Dr. Raúl Castro and Ms. Adela Parro will be your main contact points throughout your program.


Connecting with participants
Your residential week in Les Roches Marbella campus will be a great occasion to bond the group and start the modules face to face. Having forged relationships in the residency at the beginning of the program, participants will have many more opportunities to work together through the online platform and other group works.

Note: Modules might suffer changes due to operational activities. If you have chosen online mode or viceversa and during the year you want to change to on campus mode or viceversa , you need to send an email to executive@lesroches.es 3 weeks prior starting date of the program.

To ensure a smooth online learning experience, make sure your laptop is updated with the latest Software specifications

• Professional Anti-Virus software is recommended

• Intel Core i5 Processor (or equivalent), 8GB RAM, 100GB hard disk space available.

• Set up of quiet “study space”with no background noise and good lightning

Business attire
- 2-3 suits (blazers with matching trousers/skirts) or dresses as per dresscode.
- 5-6 shirts or blouses for business suits
- Neck ties matching the suit (required for men)
- Thin sweaters or vests
- Dark color socks and skin or black color stockings

- Pair of comfortable black leather shoes.
- Pair of nice high heels for ladies

Arrivals
Meet & greet
If you have purchased accommodation and transfer through Les Roches, make sure you’ve filled in the pre-arrival form on the Les Roches Website before you depart.
When you arrive at the Málaga airport we will greet you in the arrivals hall. We will have transportation arranged to take you to our campus. Upon arrival at Málaga International Airport, you should proceed to the baggage claim area to retrieve your luggage. Continue through customs, exit into the arrival area and an attendant will personally greet you in the arrival hall, and will accompany you to your priorly booked and confirmed transportation that will take you to the hotel.

Make sure you have the following items with you upon your arrival:

Lost luggage
Should you lose your luggage, you should report this to the authorities within the airport immediately as per their standard procedure. You must provide them with the name, phone number and address of the school campus where you will stay, so that they can deliver the luggage directly to you once it has been retrieved. Should you need assistance, our Welcome Team will be happy to assist you.
Internet access
You will have access to the hotel Wi-Fi, as well as access to our Wi-Fi in all areas of the campus.

The journey by car takes about 45 minutes from the airport to Les Roches campus.
Your stay - all you need to know
Where will I stay?
Executive students who have purchased accommodation and transfer through Les Roches are lodged at off campus in a single room at a hotel arranged by Les Roches Marbella. Transfer is included, so there is no need to worry about how to get from the hotel to campus and back!
More accommodation options
Les Roches also offers many off-campus accommodation options. You may also opt to look for your own accommodation solution if you wish to do so.
Activities during on-campus sessions
Your on-campus sessions will be packed full of networking sessions, theoretical classes and guest lecturers from industry leading companies.
Getting out on the road
Les Roches is proudly the only university in Spain that offers its students a fleet of electric cars. In order to rent one of them, please download the app and follow the simple steps to verify your identity.

Rules on Campus
Health, Safety & Wellbeing
If you fall ill during the program, the Health & Wellbeing Team can help arrange a doctor’s appointment if needed. Ensure you have adequate health and accident insurance to cover medical expenses during the program. Campus Security is dedicated to maintaining student safety. Our community has a strict no-drugs policy and prohibits alcohol consumption for minors.
Professional Etiquette
With over 800 students from 90+ nationalities, our campus celebrates cultural diversity. We ask everyone to respect differing views and presentations to avoid causing offense. Students must adapt to professional standards expected in hospitality and tourism industries. The school emphasizes professional etiquette to help students develop qualities essential for their future careers.
Dietary Restrictions
Inform the school of any medical or religious dietary restrictions during registration.
Money and Valuables
Private insurance for theft or damage is strongly recommended as the school is not liable for lost items. Use the safety deposit boxes in your hotel room and avoid keeping large amounts of money in your room. Keep your belongings secure outside class hours.
Electrical Appliances
Spain uses 210-220V sockets with two-pin plugs. You may need a transformer or adapter, available in stores selling electrical appliances.
Security
The school’s Safety Officers, supported by a private security company, patrol the grounds to ensure your safety.
General Behaviour
- Follow all school rules and policies, respecting cultural differences.
- Attend classes punctually as required by Les Roches.
- Be responsible for visitors and ensure they stay out of residence areas.

Electric Car Services
Rent 100% electric Mini Cooper S and Cupra cars for daily trips or errands:
- Download the Activacar app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Validate your documents to unlock a car.
- Begin your trip from the Les Roches Marbella campus.
- Return the car to the campus charging station, ensuring it’s plugged in for the next user.
Cashless Services
A cashless system is available for purchasing snacks, drinks, or coffee.
Sports Center
Enjoy free access to the Manolo Santana Racquets Club, offering tennis, paddle tennis, gym, fitness, and a swimming pool. Contact Student Services to request access. You can also access our Bahia facilities, including gym, and fitness centre.

5. What should I pack for the residential week in Marbella?
Bring business attire, including 2–3 suits, shirts/blouses, and professional shoes. Casual attire, sportswear, and essentials like an international adapter and toiletries are also recommended.
6. How does the arrival and check-in process work?
If you’ve arranged accommodation and transfers through Les Roches, complete the pre-arrival form. Upon arriving at Málaga Airport, an attendant will greet you and guide you to campus transportation. For assistance, contact the Arrival Team at arrivals@lesroches.es.
7. What are the laptop and technical requirements for online learning?
Ensure your laptop meets these minimum specifications:
- Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent
- Memory: 8GB RAM

8. How do I access electric car services on campus?
