Les Roches earns Swiss accreditation as a University of Applied Sciences Institute
We are absolutely thrilled to confirm that we have successfully completed our journey with the Swiss Accreditation Council (SAC) →. This means we are now officially accredited as a University of Applied Sciences Institute, which sits alongside our existing NECHE accreditation →.
Everyone at our school is immensely proud of this accomplishment, which confers additional status on the qualifications that past, present and future students earn with us.
In addition, it brings these tangible benefits:
- It enhances our global recognition, due to the high regard in which Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences are held. This is true both among leading employers and other universities.
- Current and future students will benefit from improved industry connections, opening up additional possibilities for professional networking and real-world work experiences.
- For our faculty, it will mean more potential to engage in academic research collaborations, domestically and internationally, together with enhanced funding opportunities.
New Bachelor of Science in Sports Business Management at Les Roches Marbella
We are excited to reveal a new addition to our undergraduate degree portfolio, in the form of the Bachelor’s in Sports Business Management – a program designed for those passionate about sports and driven to make an impact.
Across four years combining academic study and real-world experience, the program builds a comprehensive understanding of the strategic and operational aspects of sports businesses, organizations and events. Students will develop expertise in areas such as sports marketing, finance, data analytics, and legal frameworks, as well as investigating important developments for the future, including e-sports and sustainable practices.
The Bachelor’s in Sports Business Management is taught at Marbella campus, with students also spending time at our campuses in Switzerland and Abu Dhabi.
Master of Science in International Hotel Management is now available at Les Roches Crans-Montana
Previously only taught at Les Roches Marbella, we are responding to the exceptional popularity of our Master’s in International Hotel Management by making it available at Crans-Montana campus.
This is a Master’s designed to fast track students towards their career goals. It offers 9 months of rigorous academic studies, followed by a 6-month internship in a top international hotel, ensuring real-world exposure and experience.
Upon completing this program, students will gain robust operational knowledge and strategic management skills. Graduates are equipped to manage effectively and to create winning strategies, preparing them to be game changers in the industry.

Dr. Ivana Nobilo appointed as Executive Academic Dean of Les Roches
We are pleased to appoint Dr. Ivana Nobilo to become our new Executive Academic Dean. Dr. Nobilo is a highly respected senior executive and consultant in private higher education, with over 25 years of experience.
Her impressive career includes leading the implementation of a successful new higher education project in Switzerland and executive coaching for managers at leading international companies, culminating in a PhD in Management.
Dr. Nobilo’s forward-thinking leadership will be instrumental in driving our academic excellence.

Eta Sigma Delta (ESD) ceremony for Bachelor students
Eta Sigma Delta (ESD) is the international honor society that recognizes outstanding academic achievements and leadership in hospitality.
To be accepted to the society, students must embody a commitment to excellence, service, and hospitality leadership. We proudly celebrated the 22nd Eta Sigma Delta Closing Ceremony at Les Roches Crans-Montana on 14th November – congratulations to our outstanding students.
Our Bachelor students enjoy immersive field visits
As part of the specialization semester of their Bachelor's in Global Hospitality Management, students explore the real-world of the industry through immersive field visits. Such visits help them to foster creativity, enhance career readiness, and generate important networking opportunities.
Our Luxury Hospitality Management specialization students recently explored the opulence of the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace and had an exclusive workshop at the Louis Vuitton boutique in Crans-Montana. Meanwhile, students taking the Digital Marketing Strategies specialization visited the stunning Boho Club Marbella.

Crans-Montana:
It was a busy October for the Career Services team at Crans-Montana campus, as both Career Day and Marriott Career Day took place during the month.
On Career Day we welcomed more than 200 guests from 122 companies, while on Marriott day, 18 Marriott properties came to recruit Les Roches students, sending 27 representatives in total.

Our Marbella campus welcomed 44 companies across different industries in October and November.
